MVV has been appointed for the design and build conversion of an existing building into 6 flats and a commercial space. Extra space was added, including a roof terrace and a deeper basement for the commercial area.The development’s goal was to maximize the available space while ensuring each flat has its own distinctive features. These include balconies, open-plan kitchens, and double-floor flats, providing unique selling points for potential buyers or tenants. MVV supplied the windows and joinery, and the facade restoration works have been completed to enhance the building’s aesthetic appeal.

Assessing the project’s feasibility and ensuring all pre-planning requirements are met before moving forward with the design.

Stage Two:

Design Concept

Defining the overall style and functionality of the space, establishing a design that aligns with the client’s vision.

Stage Three:

Survey & Planning

Conducting a detailed site survey followed by architectural and engineering drawings of the existing and proposed layouts to inform the next steps.

Stage Four:

Strip-Out & Demolition

Commencing with the strip-out of existing elements, followed by demolition to prepare the space for construction.

Stage Five:

Construction Phase

Carrying out all construction work, from structural updates to finishing touches, including decoration to ensure the space is complete and refined.

Stage Six:

Hand Over

Handing over the completed project, including a comprehensive project book with details of materials and maintenance for future reference.
