Who’s running this estimate?
What you get, and what it is not
- What do I get for £9.99?
- A priced range for your project plus a trade-by-trade breakdown of where the money goes, on screen and by email. One payment covers one complete estimate: the questionnaire, the range and the full breakdown.
- How accurate is it, and how is it priced?
- The rates come from real projects priced by MVV, a working London design and build contractor, rather than from a published index. Figures are indicative and exclusive of VAT, and an estimate is not a quotation. A quotation follows a site visit, once the property has been seen.
- Does it work outside London?
- Yes, across England. Prices are calibrated by postcode area, so the number reflects local building costs rather than a national average.
- How long does it take?
- A few minutes of questions, then the pricing itself. The estimate arrives on screen and is emailed to you, so you can close the page and still receive it.
- What happens if the estimator fails?
- You are not charged twice. A pass is only spent by a completed estimate, so a run that fails on our side leaves it untouched and you can run it again at no charge.
- Who is behind it?
- The Estimator is software by MVV Technologies Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 17300982. It is used under licence by MVV Construction Ltd, who carry out the building works.
